The Bush Puppet Show Rolls On
One has to wonder about the GOP Base. I’m talking about the Bush’s puppets in the GOP who refuse to back down on forging ahead in Iraq and who still do not come to grips with the fact that it’s an illegitimate war. Every criticism is attacked from that puppet base as being “unsupportive of the troops”.
So the Democrats finally roll out something that halfway makes sense and the GOP puppets still won’t budge. I say halfway because anything short of a full pullout plan is a halfway measure. Enough public opinion polls have shown that the majority of the US population does not support the idea of troops in Iraq and the GOP puppet show ignores that. I wonder what power Bush has over these puppets to make them behave in that manner? Bush by all measures should be lame duck and packing his bags by now. What are they afraid of at this point?
They should be more afraid of their voter base. When the senate elections come up again, there will be a list of senators who voted against this measure. Just for the record, here is the puppet show list.

My look at that glitterati. Why who is that I see? Craig from Idaho? Mr. ‘Foot Tapper’ himself? And I see some Presidential hopefuls in there (shame on you McCain and Brownback). Uhoh, there is going to be some ’splaining to do there boys! And Lieberman is not so “independent” after all.
Oh and it’s funny how you don’t find this list linked in the common media. I had to dig it up myself. I hate this puppet show.

Delaware Shooting – Just another Day in Da Hood
Another college shooting. Oh Boy. This is going to bring out the left wing anti-gun kukkoos in the media. It’s funny how much press coverage this school shooting is getting. It’s even gotten banner level coverage.
Now I am not saying the shooting is good or anything, but let’s put it in perspective shall we? If you read local news stories from places like Detroit, St. Louis, and LA, there are shootings like this every day. In fact, many times a day. Some drive by, some walk by, many random, many planned.
Yet these never get the media coverage that a school shooting does – even a college shooting. I say even a college shooting, because we have to remember that college students are in theory adults.
Anyway, back to the real news from the streets. Why is that marginalized by the media? Is it not interesting enough? I wonder how many people got shot in Detroit this week? Bet it was more than 2.
Is this all they have to do?
The senate votes to ‘condemn’ the moveon.org ad. What exactly will happen if they condemn it? Nothing. Nada. MoveOn is a bit too far left for me, but hey that’s free speech. Get used to it. Last time I checked we still have that. General Betrayus!
Aside from that, it’s a symbolic move and nothing will happen to Moveon.Org other than a bunch of press coverage. And the coverage will sway sentimient in favor of MoveOn and make the GOP look stupid (again). People should be thinking right about now: “Good God, no wonder this congress can’t get anything done. The senate is busy playing games with advertising and game playing. Another ‘do nothing’ congress.”
Every senator who voted for this ‘measure’ has voted against democracy and free speech. The military is not above criticism and certainly General BetrayUS is not. Remember that!
